About Charity Week
For the past 16 years, young people have been coming together from across the world, promoting the vision of unity and undertaking a week of united fundraising for orphans and needy children.
Why do we believe so deeply about unity? Because the range of problems and difficulties faced by us all across the world are so many, so varied, so complex - that the only way that we will stand any chance of overcoming them is if we work together.
Superheroes have never been more popular, capturing the imagination of the young and the young at heart alike.
This year, Charity Week has chosen Superheroes as our theme and Marvel Studios as our case study to learn from the phenomenal success they've had in connecting with audiences across the world. The focus is not on these imaginary characters, but in using them to rediscover the "real" heroes.
We hope that this theme will shine a spotlight on the real life heroes struggling against the forces of poverty injustice and disunity across the world - whether they be the forgotten noble heroes of our past, or the present day ones trying to survive in the most difficult circumstances.
No matter what your age, no matter what your activity (as long as it adheres to our Islamic values, guidelines and is legal) - you can start your own fundraising page for your institution or none.
We wish you the very best with your efforts to bring more unity to our communities and the blessings that come when we #UniteOurPowers
In a world that is increasingly divided and dangerous, we are saying "Enough!"
Charity Week is the time for the bakers, the bucketers, the ChangeMakers to come together to act locally but affect change globally to the lives of thousands of children worldwide.
For those individuals who want to join the growing movement by braving challenges, shaving a head, hosting a family quiz night - the list goes on, create your page by clicking the relevant link above! You don’t have to be a certain age, Charity Week is whatever you want to make of it!
We wish you the very best of luck in your fundraising and look forward to seeing what you get up to for Charity Week.
